Protect the sheet
To protect the sheet, go to Tools menu, Protection, Protect Sheet. Don't know about individual cells, but if the sheet is protected, n one can alter your cells anyway. Protect the sheet
you can protect the individual cells do this before you
protect the sheet go to the cells that you dont want to be protected and then select them now right click choose format cells you should see a tab called protection now make sure that LOCKED is not ticked. if it is it means that when you protect the sheet it will protect that cell. by default all cells protections are locked so try it on a new workbook you will see. if you choose to protect sheet people can still delete the worksheet. if you choose protect workbook they cant delete the sheet but can delete the cells so maybe protect with both options. if you need help email me. take it easy -----Original Message----- To protect the sheet, go to Tools menu, Protection, Protect Sheet.
