Sorting based on a cell
 

Thanks, tried that:

I get an error message saying "Run-time error '1004'"
: Method 'Range' of object' _Global' failed

with the line
Selection.SORT Key1:=Range(SortMonth), Order1:=xlAscending
highlighted in debug mode.
