Thanks for the advise guys - I found the co-author inserted a macro lat
Friday after I left and I did not know it but he had named it "Format."
Thus the problem! A good lesson in naming conventions.

That or through error or purpose defining Format as a variable was something
I considered, but it seems like such an error would occur on all computers
rather than some as you stated.

I'd call it a lesson in "reserved words" rather than "naming conventions" <g.
