Default Excel compiler and Excel password

Hi,

Please answer to my following two questions:

1- Is it possible to pass through the excel password (find it or break it)
?
2- Is there something like excel compiler that can make a stand alone
package off of a excel file ?

Thanks,
Afshin

Afshin,
1. If you mean the password for WB or WS protection, then yes, these are
relatively easily circumvented. If you mean the VBA password, this more
difficult, but can be broken.

2. If you need it to run macros then no. If just for viewing, then an
Excel viewer is available.

Default Excel compiler and Excel password

Hi Nick,

Could you please teach me some trick in order to break these passwords ? I
have some excel file and I want to know how the programmer have written
their codes
on these files, another reason that I am interested to do this is,when I
start my
excel program with a new blank file ,if I go to VBA editor to write some
codes,
those programs that I have tried to open them, are already loaded there( I
can
see just their names in VBA editor) , when I am trying to delete them,it ask
me to enter that password ,do you have any idea that how I should delete
them from the editor? Thanks,

Regards,
Afshin.
