Header Row 1 is displayed in split screen - Way to keep
Hello,
I am using Excel as a database for a merge file and I have the screen split so that Row 1 is always visible. However some of the people it's been distributed to like to click in there and then it scrolls down, leaving them without the headers. Is there anyway to permanently freeze this first row in the split screen where they can't alter the display. I do need to have the worksheet unprotected because of a couple of macro's running. Thanks BOB REYNOLDS |

Oh I love it. So simple but so elusive, thanks so much
Bob "Dave Peterson" wrote in message ... I don't like Window|split for the same reason. But I do like Window|Freeze panes. It doesn't allow the top (or left) frozen area to scroll independently.
