Please clarify your question. Even with Macro Security set to High in
Excel XP, I have no difficulty loading and using the Solver Add-In.

Is it possible to add a digital signature to Microsoft's "Solver" such that
it doesn't require the user to enable the macros on start-up?

Jerry,

I'm using Excel 2000 and Windows NT4 as the operating system. I am using
Solver from within a VBA macro. I have digitally signed my own macro but
because Solver is referenced, when the workbook is opened it still asks the
user to enable or disable the Solver macros. The Solver add-in is of course
locked and I have not managed to find a way (if there is one) of preventing
the opening dialogue. I should add that if I use Solver normally within a
worksheet environment it does not require the user to enable the macros.

Thanks ...
