.Net ADO, Protect and Track Change
Hi All,
I have to develop an Excel with data and rules in it and this excel will be depolyed to the clients. Problem 1: The data from Database and the application server has no MS office installed. We have to use the .Net ADO to insert data and create worksheet. It works fine. Problem 2: The protection is down to cell, so all of the cells is protected but only some are allow to make modification. It works fine too but only Marco enable. How I can do it without Marco enable? Problem 3: My client require "Track Change" enable, it seems not possible to be enabled by the VBA code. Also it is conflict to enable protection and "Track change", i.e. if "Track Change" enabled, VBA execute protection will cause error. What I can do? It is very appericate if any help. Thanks |
.Net ADO, Protect and Track Change
Problem 1:
The data from Database and the application server has no MS office installed. We have to use the .Net ADO to insert data and create worksheet. It works fine. Not quite sure to understand your problem as you say that it "works fine2... Problem 2: The protection is down to cell, so all of the cells is protected but only some are allow to make modification. It works fine too but only Marco enable. How I can do it without Marco enable? There is a cell "locked" cell property Format - cells - protection Problem 3: My client require "Track Change" enable, it seems not possible to be enabled by the VBA code. Also it is conflict to enable protection and "Track change", i.e. if "Track Change" enabled, VBA execute protection will cause error. What I can do? Don't know about this one... sorry.. --alexT |
