Pivot Table Sorting
Hi everyone,
I have a pretty big pivot table that I want to sort per values in the columns and I have tried several times to sort with the function sort in the pivot table menu but it never seems right and I can't get the sorting I need. Like if I had a list of company names (in the ROW section of my pivot) with their total stock value (in the DATA section)and I would have like the currency in the ROW section. Now if I would want to sort my pivot table in a descending order for the US dollar value in my table, what would I do ??? |
Pivot Table Sorting
To sort on a data field, put the cursor on one of the enties in the Row area
(Company Name), right click, choose Field Settings, choose Advanced, choose Ascending, and then choose the Data item you would like to sort (i.e. USD value). Good luck Frank "Sort in Pivot table" wrote in message ...
