Alternative to Application.FileDialog (please)?

Hi Andy,

Application.GetOpenFilename will do mostly the same thing in all
versions of Excel. It's a bit primitive compared to the FileDialog object,
though. The last argument determines wether the dialog is multiselect. If
the multiselect argument is True then the GetOpenFilename return value is a
Variant array containing the list of selected files (it's an array even if
only one file is selected).

Hi,
Does anyone know of an alternative to the FileDialog in Excel 2002? Some

of
our users use Excel 97 and this object isn't in the object model (under
application).
All we are using it for is to be able to select multiple files.

Does anyone have any alternatives so that I can select multiple files at
once but without using the FileDialog object?

Many thanks in advance.
Andy
