Lock cell
By default, all cells are locked, but only if the sheet is protected. To
turn on sheet protection: Select Tools/Protection/Protect Sheet from Excel's menu. You'll probably want to leave some cells unlocked. To do so, first unprotect the sheet. then select the cells you want to unlock. Then from the Excel menu select Format/Cells. Clock on the Protection tab and make sure the checkbox labeled "Locked" is not checked. Finally, protect the sheet again. HTH Phil Webb "Mohamed" wrote in message ...
