Auto create unique accelerators for a list
 

Does anyone have a function that is able to accept a list of captions
and return a list of captions that has the "&" embedded appropriately
such that all shortcuts are unique?

My problem is that I have so many menus, and manually choosing the
accelerators takes too much time. Any help would be appreciated.
