Conditional formatting
Can anyone help me!
I want cells B2 to D5 to take on the conditional formatting values have set for A2 to A5. I have set the cells to change background colour if certain text i entered and that works fine but I now want the other cells to follo suit so if the text changes, the other cells change too. I'm not sure if I've been clear enough, ask for further info i necessary! V: -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
Conditional formatting
Conditional formats are copied/pasted with other cell formats.
If you use a formula you might need to adapt it -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

Thanks Brian but this doesn't really help, I want cells B2 to D5 to
change colour but with the existing text in them. --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
Conditional formatting
Not Copy/Paste, but Copy/Paste Special/Format. Or select a cell with the
format you want and click the PaintBrush icon in the toolbar, then drag select all the cells you want that format "Painted" to. Mike F "rallynut " wrote in message ... Can anyone help me!
