I have an extensive consolidated donor database which
draws information from 5 different databases. All entries are identifiable by a number in column A. The info from database 1 (personal data) features data in columns A-F. Info from database 2 features data in A (to identify it)and then in columns G-I. Info from database 3 features data in column A and then columns J-N... and so on. Can anybody provide me with a formula that will copy data from database 1 (columns B-F)onto any other row with a corresponding identity number in column A? This way, when I am sorting according to data in column M, for example, the personal information in columns B-F will be available too. The alternative, so far as I am aware, is to copy this info with thousands of entries - which doesn't excite me greatly!! Can anyone help? Thanks. |
