Excel on the web using .NET
Excel sheets on the web.
I have very advanced excel spread sheets with tons of front end (formulas, conditional logic, controls, vlookups, etc.) as well as backend (sql statements into databases, error logging, audit trails and minimal forecasting) used by remote users. Right now, I send them an email or they pull the file off of a network drive. I do version control using the client and a database field. What I would like to do, is embed this excel spreadsheet into a website. I know I can do a save as and make a web page, but I wanted to know how to actually embed a excel control or object, like a work book, into a website, so they could run the macro on the web and not have to have a local odbc connection. Does anyone have any examples, or experience doing this...??? David Charney --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
