Default changing user name on windows system folder

Does anyone know how to change a user name on windows folder, i.e. when I go
to hard drive (drive c) , documents/settings it still states an ex colleagues
name on the folder. When I try to change it - it says this is a window system
folder cannot be removed or renamed. It also affects my emails internally,
when my colleagues send me an email the old name comes up.

It will be nice to get my own identity. Hope someone can help.
