Foreign characters aren't processed in a macro
Hi all
I have a macro which replaces non-English characters in a range of cells with english ones. I have been using it for years on a Win NT office 97 set up and now I have changed to Win 2k and office 2k it doesn't work. The reason seems to bethat the VBA macro seems to ignore the accents etc. when it tries to do the find/replace during the macro. If I do the work manually find/replace works. The macro seems to be stripping away the accents when reading the data for the sheet. How can I stop this behaviour. This is urgent please help Thanks in advance Paul |
