Default Did anyone know about "Shell" function?

My question is click a button and it will automatic open
that folder, but that folder is not a fix location, it
will change base on difference record. I only know how to
use Shell function to link a path and open it, did Shell
function link with a veriable? As I use a veriable to
store the current path. I read all about Shell's Help in
Excel, but I can't find any statment could help me.
