Recommended Book on Visual Basic for Excel

I am doing a fair amount of programming in VB, with no prior experience in
it at all, tho I do have some experience with other things like LISP, C,
PICK, SNOBOL, APL, FORTRAN, and some assemblers.

Are there any good books on VB in Excel that anyone would recommend as an
intermediate level reference/cook book for my library.

Many thanks,
Mac Lingo

Hi Mac!

One minor change:

Excel 2003 Power Programming with VBA ; John Walkenbach; John Wiley &
Sons; ISBN: 0-764540726 ; $49.99

I think that it's always worth getting the latest edition to cover
your potential upgrades and because John highlights any differences
between different versions of Excel.

Also worth a look at is:

Excel 2002 VBA Programmers Reference; John Green, Stephen Bullen, Rob
Bovey, Robert Rosenberg; 993 pages; Wrox Press Inc; ISBN 1861005709;
US$39.99

See a pretty comprehensive range of what's available at:
