I declared a workbook and set that workbook to
workbooks.add. What is the default path that workbook is
given? Can I set the path for it?

When you add a workbook it doesn't have a path. That gets assigned when you
save it.

I add a workbook and name it but not save it and I can
find it in my C drive without saving it?

You can't name it without saving it. The saved file name is the name of the
workbook.
