Unprotect and protect....
I have several Excel files password protected in some
different folders. I'd like to unprotect and so protect all this files with the same password. (I need to use Linkfixerplus to repair the broken links) I'd like to select the root folder and apply a macro, script or software to unprotect and protect the Excel files. Is there a solution to apply to multiple files? Thank you.... |
Unprotect and protect....
i think yes!
In my opinion, the best way to do this: In a excel workbook Sheet put in column A the fullpathname of the different protected workbooks. in column B their passwords the do a loopin for each cell in column A not empty to open the files one by one to unprotect them with the passwor located in column B to apply then a new protection "the new password t save the workbook and to cloes it. if the lopp does this you will accomplish the job. PS: mandatory, keep the desired files fullpath and password in say shee. and open everyone of them to apply then the new password, to save the later on -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
