vlookup function
i have data in range c6 to g 1500...
now in cell cell n6 , o6 and p6 ... i have used data validation to get the strategy , the geography and the status of the funds ...... i get a pull down meny from which i can select any startegy , status and geography ....... what i want to do is that ............................. once i select the 3 parameters ,.... i want my match or vlookup or any other function to go and get the data from the range c6 to g1500.....i have a data matrix.... for ex...if iselect ....stratgey ..say commodity ,,,and geog...say US and statsu ...say A i want to be able to see all the funds which are in US , A have status and are of strategy Commodity ... how do i do this ? can vlookup or match or index or intersect function work ? pls help ? |

Sounds like the advanced filter would be more appropriate. Use the
