Has anybody written a macro to copy the contents of a cell into Notepad?

If you want to write the contents of a cell to a text file, then going
through notpad would be a very inefficient way to do it.

Gives you plenty of sample code for writing information to text files.

Chip Pearson also has sample code for writing to a text file:
