excel 2000 and c# .net
I've been searching the net/forums and can't find a good answer to thi
question - how possible/easy is it to interact between excel 2k and c .net? I want to write a component in c# to pull data off a server, an make this available to an excel module for data analysis, but I'm stuc with excel 2k so I can't use VSTO. is this possible? I believe it is, since you can build a com wrappe around a .net component, but I have no experience with com stuff so have no idea if/how that would complicate things. I'd look into th possibility of doing it all in VBA, except I'm not sure it has th power the .net classes offer, and I much prefer c-style syntax :P I found a couple helpful posts on this forum and articles at othe sites, but nothing that addresses exactly what I'm thinking of. an pointers to other posts/articles would be much appreciated. thanks fo any suggestions in going forward with this :cool -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
