Rename Files from Explorer
I have one hundred files in a folder. I wish to make
copies of them all in another folder, but would like to re- name them all (they all have 2003 in their name and I would like the copies to have 2004 instead). Is there a "Copy/Replace" function within Explorer, or elsewhere? Thanks all. |

Third-party utility Lupas Rename works well and is free.
http://go.to/lupas2000 Select your folder in Explorer. Open Lupas Rename. Select "Filename" tab. Select your 100 files and "replace text" 2003 "with this new text" 2004 Gord Dibben Excel MVP On Fri, 18 Jun 2004 16:57:16 -0700, "BENNY" wrote: I have one hundred files in a folder.
