Equivalent ActiveCell.Id property for Excel97
Hi,
I have written an Add-In using Excel2000 and up, my problem is that I now have to make it work in 97 for an company that has still not upgraded!! There were a number of changes I had to make but one that has got me a little stumped is a equivalent for the ID property for the ActiveCell? Basically what I need is a place to store a hidden value for each cell which I can use at some later stage. I know I can use a hidden sheet but would prefer not to... Any one have any ideas or know what I can use instead? Thanks in advance, Rick |
Equivalent ActiveCell.Id property for Excel97
The ID property was added in Excel2000. There is no equivalent in Excel 97.
I think you would either need to use a global variable (array) or use a hidden sheet. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Rick De Marco" wrote in message m...
