Column Limit
I have a project that requires 500+ fields (i.e. columns)
per record. Any suggestion on working around the 255 limit of Excel?? |

Use the right tool for the job? Access would probably be much better.

You are stuck with the 256 columns per sheet.
Split the data over multiple sheets or use a different product like Quattro Pro which will allow many more columns.
