Visual Basic Marco
 
My Visual Basic Marcos in excel 2003 do not function
after upgrading from Windows 2000 to Windows XP
professional.
I reduced the Marco security level but still get the
following error message, "Can't find project or library"
after hitting the F9 (calculate now).
How do I use the Browse dialog box to find the missing
reference ?

In the VBE click Tools-References - one of the libraries should have
"Missing" next to it.

Andrew,

Alt F11 to open the VB editor. Select the workbook or add-in that is causing
the problem. On the menu, look at Tools, References and look for something
marked as missing.

Make sure you reset before looking for the reference - you may need to
browse to find it and the type of file you are looking for may be the .xla
type.

I apologize for breaking in but I have seen the "missing"
references before and wondering why it happens and how to
fix it???
