Timing Problem can someone help please
I have two templates that are communicating between each other, Value
are entered into one template while the other is closed, at the pres of a button the other template is opened and values from the previou template are inputted into cells on that template. That would hav been easy enough if I wanted to stop there...but...I have a userform o the second template, and I want textboxes on that userform to b populated with those values that were just inputted, however, I stil want the userform to be showing after all is said and done (the othe template should then save and close) leaving the other active. M first thought (errant) was that I could have the userform linked to th Workbook_Open() but that didn't work because the userform loaded an stopped the values from being input in the first place, then I though (errantly again) that I would do it for a worksheet_Change() that gav me like four bazillion times it wanted to load the userform (one fo every value I was inputting). How could I do this so that the userfor only loads after the values have finished inputting -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

Control the passing of values from you first template into the second using
code in the second template after it has opended. So something like this Open template1 Enter values in template1 Button Event on template1 - to open template2 Open template2 Open workbook event triggers transfer from tempate1 to template2 Close template1 Show user form Cheers Nigel "RPIJG " wrote in message ... It would if you tested for the presence of the first template as part of the
conditions to run the open macro event?
