I have a file that has hidden worksheets. I have a main
navigation page in the workbook that has buttons that when
clicked make certain hidden worksheets visible. I want to
share this workbook and protect the structure; however,
this is hindering me from unhiding worksheets when the
file is shared. To get to the heart of the question, is
there anyway to protect/unprotect a shared workbook and
still allow for worksheets to be hid/unhid?

Hi Jeff
this is one of the many restrictions of shared workbooks. So AFAIK no
chance to do this

Yes, share the workbook but rather than locking cell
content and protecting the sheet as well, simply use data
validation or hide columns to prevent unwanted cell
changes.
