which odbc excel driver is the best?
 

Hi,

I found two odbc excel drivers:
1)
objconn.Open "Driver={Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls)};" & _
"FIL=excel 8.0;" & _
"DefaultDir=d:\;" & _
"MaxBufferSize=2048;" & _
"PageTimeout=5;" & _
"DBQ=C:\excel.xls;ReadOnly=0;"

2) objconn.open("DBQ=C:\excel.xls;DefaultDir=C:\l;Dri ver={Microsoft Excel
Driver (*.xls)};ReadOnly=0;")

Are there differences? Which one is the best?

Hi Andre,

These are just two minor variations on exactly the same connection
string. There is only one ODBC driver for Excel.
