XLL unrecognizable format in Win2000
Hi. I have an XLL that was created and in Visual C++ 6.0 and runs grea
on Windows 95/98/ME and XP. I have a person using it in Windows 200 though and when they add it, the add-in works fine. However, after they leave Excel and come back, the program gives th message "This file is not in a recognizable format". To use th add-in, the person has to Add it back in. This has to be don everytime Excel is opened. I had this problem on a Windows XP machine and I copied the window dlls mfc42.dll and msvcrt.dll and it corrected it. Has anyone had thi problem? Any fix for it??? Thank you! jen -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
