Commandbars are a collection within the Application object. Normally, when
working within VBA in an Excel application, you don't need the Application object qualifier, but many posts have reported problems with commandbars that have been solved by using Application.Commandbars. As for Activeworkbook.Commandbars, never seen that one, doesn 't seem to work for me. Excel.Commandbars is just the same as Application.Commandbars, except you can't use it in Word? -- HTH Bob Phillips ... looking out across Poole Harbour to the Purbecks (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "majikman " wrote in message ...
