conditional sums
 

Need to sum the difference of cells in columns between
cell values and 1, when the values in a range (D2:R500)are
less than 1. The cells to calculate in the range, if that
condition is met, hold subtotal results (values and
formula) using Excel worksheet function.

Seems like the SUMIF function should do it, but haven't
made it work. Appreciate any help.
