Retrieving a deleted module from VBE in Excel
I'm a rookie at anything to do with macros, but I have
spent all day creating some simple macros--about 80 of them--a full day's work. From within VBE, I've accidentally deleted the module containing these 80 macros. Is there any hope of retrieving that deleted module? My office is on a Windows network. The workbook is on a network drive, but the network is only backed up once a day (11pm) and none of the work I did today creating macros has been backed up on the network yet. Any suggestions, or am I SOL? Thanks, Erin |

Can't say definitively that you're SOL, but I would imagine that this
is the case. Jan Karel Pieterse provides two downloads that should prevent a reoccurence of your conundrum. http://www.jkp-ads.com/Download.htm AutoSafeVBE.zip AutoSafe.zip HTH Paul -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Be advised to back up your WorkBook before attempting to make changes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm a rookie at anything to do with macros, but I have spent all day creating some simple macros--about 80 of them--a full day's work.
