Hidden hyperlinks giving me a problem...
 

I have an excel spreadsheet that seems to be growing. The spreadshee
itself is only 850k but in a couple of weeks time it has grown to 4Mb.
We receive emails with data on them and copy and paste the data ont
the spreadsheet. Well now hidden hyperlinks are starting to appear o
the spreadsheet. You can't see them but if your cursor hovers over th
cell you can see the destination which is actually a link to anothe
application we use.

I have already tried the codes to remove all hyperlinks on the activ
sheet and selection but I keep getting an error and excel shut
down...they will remove regular hyperlinks that are visible, but thes
aren't getting deleted.

I have to go in there and convert everything to a text file to get ri
of the links then put it back into excel, but then eventually the
start coming back. Anybody have an idea what would cause this or wha
I can do to keep it from happening again. Oh and the cells tha
contain the links are nowhere near the data that was pasted from th
emails, so it can't be an issue of copying a hyperlink and accidentall
pasting it onto the sheet...any suggestions
