Setting a timed event in Excel - Please Help
-- HTH Bob Phillips ... looking out across Poole Harbour to the Purbecks (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "Mitch" wrote in message ... I posted this once this week but did not receive any responses. I really need help figuring this out: I have searched on the message boards for help with setting a timer, but I still can't figure it out. I have a worksheet with three command buttons on it. When the workbook is opened, I want only the first command button to show. When the user clicks on the first command button a userform pops up. Here is where the timer function comes in. When the user finishes inputting data into the Userform and clicks the ok button, I want a timer to start. The timer will be for 12 hours. At the end of 12 hours the second command button will be visible on the worksheet. Clicking on this button pulls up another userform. When the person is done filling out the data and clicks the ok button here, I want another timer to start. This timer will be for 24 hours. After 24 hours, the third command button will be visible. I appreciate all the help I can get on this problem. Mitch |
