please say someone can help with this!!! I have a workbook that covers differing machinery and i would like images to be included however, these images are stored in a folder on the hard drive. What could i do so as to have the user click.....something...., be directed to the folder containing and selecting the image that then pastes to the chosen location???

Turn on the macro recorder

do

Insert=Picture=From File

once the picture is inserted and you move it to a new location, turn off the
macro recorder. This will give you the basic code you need and you can
modify that to get the specific code.
