References to ADO library for ACCESS connection
I have a template workbook (MASTer) which runs a number of
Macros that get data from Access. I have added a reference to the ADO library (in VBE Tools, Reference and ticked Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects x.x Object Library) to allow this connection. The user will then copy this template workbbok to create a workbook that he/she can use. However when I copy this workbook (in Windows Explorer) the Copy of MASTER workbook contains all macros etc. but the references I selected are no longer ticked. All the references that were ticked by default remain ticked, i.e. Visual Basic for Applications, Microsoft Excel 10.0 Object Library, OLE Automation, etc. but not the ones I have selected. Is there some way of copying a workbook so that references I select remain ticked. Alternatively is there a way I can run a macro or something to select them automatically. I need the user to be able to run a copy of the MASTER workbook with all functions working. Thanks for your help. |

Is ADO available (installed & registered) on the users' PC? It has to be the same version as the one that you have 'ticked' in.
