File Conversion
When opening a pdf file attached to my email, it
automatically converts to an excel file for which I can't read. I was told by an Acrobat rep that I needed to contact Microsoft. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how was it resolved. Thanks. |
File Conversion
First thing- you might want to avoid showing your e-mail addess over th
web! First check would be has the extension .pdf become associated with th wrong kind of file. If you open any folder (through windows) and go to tools/folder option through the tool bar at the top. On the window that opens go to file types and scan down the list t "PDF" then click advanced In the actions window select "open" and click edit and make sure thi is pointing to "AcroRd32.exe" not "Excel.exe". If not, hit browse an find the AcroRd32 file. These instructions are for 2k but should be similar across xp, nt etc. Dunca -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
