dynamic subtotal %
Is there code that can calculate % of sales dynamically? Is there a way
to do this in pivot tables? For my report I have hundreds of companies, and it is pretty tedious to subtotal percents each time manually. I want a way to reference the subtotals to calculate the % of sales. Example: Company Sales % of Sales a 1 a 2 a 3 a total 6 b 5 b 6 b total 11 c 4 c 5 c 6 c 7 c total 22 --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
dynamic subtotal %
Hi
try using a pivot table for this. See http://www.cpearson.com/excel/pivots.htm http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Pivots/pivotstart.htm http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot02.html http://www.ozgrid.com/Excel/excel-pivot-tables.htm -- Regards Frank Kabel Frankfurt, Germany Is there code that can calculate % of sales dynamically?
