Using an Excel "object" with my VB DLL
I have written a DLL that performs some data analysis and return
results through function calls with an Excel formula. I am having a problem however passing the user selected range to my DL function. My DLL is regestered with the OS (XP). The DLL functions show as use defined formulas for use in cells. What I need is to have my DLL gai the ability (using the Excel object I suppose) to know the cell/rang that the user is selecting. My function performs some calculation based on the number of rows and colums the user has selected. I have created an Excel object and set the object as Application Workbook and Worksheet, *** but it appears this is a "new" object and not the Workbook that am calling the DLL from *** Any ideas on how I tell the DLL that my object is the Workbook that am calling it from? Any help is greatly appreciated. Ric -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
