Suppose the addresses without the symbols are in column B, beginning in row
2. In C2, type: ="<"&B2&"" Copy the formula down. Copy all the cells with the new syntax. Edit-Paste special as values. Delete column B. <-*-<-*-<-*-<-*-<-*-<-*-<-*-<-*- Hope this helps! Assuming addresses start in cell A1 enter in cell B1
