Sometimes when I click a button in an excel sheet, I got message "macro disabled". Please advice how to enable. Thanks

close the workbook, then reopen it and don't choose to disable macros.

Another possibility

In xl2k or higher:
Tools|Macro|Security (set it to medium to be prompted each time you open a workbook with code set it to low to avoid the prompt--ms doesn't recommend this one) In xl97, I think you're limited to just two options (enable or disable macros).
