Formula to calculate affiliate commission
Hi,
I would like some help to calculate affiliate commission in an Excel file. This will be for a website that sells ebooks with a 5-tier affiliate tracking program. Suppose the price for 1 ebook is $1. And suppose I pay each affiliate $0.05 I know how to create simple formulae in Excel but just can't figure out this one. Especially when you are trying to simulate selling 1000 ebooks a month, it gets hard. What I had so far, was: T1 1 x 0,05 = 0,05 T2 5 x 0,05 = 0,25 (5 = 1 x 5) T3 25 x 0,05 = 1,25 (25 = 5 x 5) T4 125 x 0,05 = 6,25 (125 = 25 x 5) T5 625 x 0,05 = 31,25 (625 = 125 x 5) ---- ------ 781 39,05 0,25 ----- 195,25 OK, if someone could spend a moment to get me on my way, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Will. |
