Visual Basic System Error
Using Excel 97 When ever I as much as open a visual basic module, when I save the file I get an Microsoft Visual Basic MsgBox that says ( System Error & H8000FFFF ( -2147418113) ) I have to hit the OK button to continue. This same msgbox appears over a hundred times in the process of saving. If I don't touch the visual basic module and save, I don't get these msgboxes. All the macros and userforms work properly. If I copy the same file to another computer running Excel 2000 I never get this msgbox. Has anybody got a clue?

Visual Basic System Error
Since this happens to all your files it certainly sounds as if your Excel 97
VB component is screwed up. It may be that an uninstall/install will help, but often it doesn't because this process does not necessarily remove and put back all files. You might make sure you have all the latest Excel 97 patches installed. The About box should show Excel 97 SR-2(n). -- Jim Rech Excel MVP "Dave" wrote in message ... | Using Excel 97 When ever I as much as open a visual basic module, when I save the file I get an Microsoft Visual Basic MsgBox that says ( System Error & H8000FFFF ( -2147418113) ) I have to hit the OK button to continue.
