Merge Excel data/charts into Word Template

Hello,

I have an Excel document that I have put together in which I enter
variety of data and it generates Charts that are on the same sheet.

I would like to place a button on the Excel sheet and upon clicking it
grab a MS Word Template and fill in the merge fields with the data.
would then be able to save the Word Document as its own file. The Wor
document does not need to be dynamic. I will create a new Wor
document each time I change/update the Excel data by clicking on th
button.

What is the best way to accomplish this? Button and Macros? Ho
should I create this Word Template?

If I could get some direction I am sure I could figure it out...thi
has to be possible...

thx in advance..
Mik

This would be a fairly advanced topic if you insisted on driving this
application with an Excel macro.

As an alternative, you might experiment with Word by opening up one of the
pre-built templates (i.e. File|New dialog box; Direct Mail Manager tab;
Simple Form Letter template). Then use the Tools|Mail Merge command to
declare where the data will come from (your Excel workbook) and where to
send the output (separate Word document). You didn't mention whether the
multiple charts on the single worksheet were to be included in the Word
document.

Will you be sending the actual Word document to the recipient, or a paper
printout?
