Changing location of text file from which information is imported

I am using the "import external data" function to import into an XL2002 worksheet data from a .csv file. I would like to change the location of the .csv file. I found in the MS Knowledge Base an article (816562) which deals with changing the location of a source file whose data is being imported into a worksheet. However, the method given in that article does not apply to text files. Is there another method which works with text files?

Right click on your data, go to Data Range Properties and change the
properties to prompt for file name on refresh. Then each time you want to
change the data source, just right-click on the data and choose refresh. It
will prompt for a new file.
