How to execute macros not saved in a workbook
Thank you Otto for your reply
I tried what you suggested, both cleaning up what Excel is including as cells being used and transferring the macros to another document. Transfering the macros knocked off about 200 KB which amounted to a second or two. The file as it stands with all the macros stored on itself is 726 KB. It takes about 10 seconds to save. It just seems like an eternity (well, not even close, but you get what I mean). What seems weird is that when I upgraded from ME to XP it started taking longer to save (that could just be me though - not sure) If any of this triggers a thought, it would be appreciated. We have a brand new Pentium IV. So speed is there in terms of the machine. Thanks again for your help David |
