have a look at http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/timestamp.html for creating fixed timestamps. In your case I'd suggest using the worksheet change event procedure presented on that page -- Regards Frank Kabel Frankfurt, Germany Any ideas on how i get a cell that i enter a letter or single digit number to display todays date in the cell or in a comment box for that cell using macros, also i do not want the date already entered in a cell to refresh when the workbook is opened another day, I have no workings for this yet as i am very new to visual basic! --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
