Hi
Since I updated my Excel 2000 with the new services packages, I cannot access the "assign macro" or open the "control" menu (via right mouse click/Format control) when inserting a command, option or spin button. Previously, it was pretty easy to use these buttons and a macro was not necessary. When I inserted a button, I right- clicked and chose "Format control". The windows which appeared contained 5 tabs(Size, Protect, Properties, Web, Control). Now, the control tab is not there anymore. To use this functions know, I have to go in an old worksheet, copy a button and insert it on the new worksheet. This is inconvenient and time consuming. May anybody help me and knows what I have to do? Thank you very much Daniel |

Sounds like you are using controls from the Forms toolbar rather than the
Control Toolbox toolbar. Try using the Control Toolbox Toolbar to achieve your previous functionality. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Daniel" wrote in message ... Hi Tom
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I am using the Control Toolbox toolbar already. There must be another problem. I get the five tabs you describe if I place a dropdown box from the FORMS
toolbar on the worksheet. Perhaps it is the other way - you want FORMS controls and are using controls from the Control Toolbox Toolbar. Forms controls also allow you to Assign a macro. Control Toolbox Toolbars do not assign macros, but use events. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Daniel" wrote in message ... Hi Tom Thanks for the response.
